A Guide to Consultation Fees

The cost of a consultation varies depending on the type of appointment you require:

  • Initial Consult is $400 (Medicare Rebate available)
  • Review Consults range From $290-$380  (Medicare Rebate available)


The Fees charged by this practice for private patients are in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (AMA) guidelines for services, therefore ‘Out of Pocket Costs’ will be incurred.


We will process your rebate on receipt of payment and the remittance will be sent directly to your bank account.


ALL PRIVATE ACCOUNTS ARE PAYABLE AT OUR CONSULT ROOMS, ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.


Patients can pay by:

  • Bank Cheque;
  • Cash;
  • Money Order;
  • Direct Deposit;
  • Credit Card; 
  • Eftpos.

 

PLEASE NOTE :

  • We do NOT bulk bill consultations or participate in the ‘No Gap Access Scheme’ for operative procedures.
  • We do NOT consult Workcover, TAC patients, patients with overseas insurance or patients without private health insurance

 

Fees for VETERAN’S AFFAIRS PATIENTS, will align with the fees governed by the organisation. No ‘out of pocket costs’ will be incurred.


PRIVATE PATIENTS proceeding to surgery will be provided with a detailed quotation, based on AMA guidelines and required to sign a form of acceptance for those fees prior to surgery. We also ask for pre-payment of surgical procedures.
